Tarun has been the transformational leader behind the sustained growth of Bajaj Life, which is now one of the fastest-growing private life insurers amongst top companies in the country. The Company is ~26K team strong, operates across over 595 branches, has India’s only Agency channel that is 100% digital with has a network of around 1.6 lakh Insurance Consultants (agents). The Company offers Bespoke Banca experience to India’s leading Banks and financial institutes and is proud to have India’s leading Direct channel.

A strong advocate for innovation and employee empowerment, he has introduced several unique initiatives for customer delight as well as employee development. Today, Bajaj Life Insurance leads the industry across parameters. From its comprehensive suite of life goals enabling products, tech-empowered service eco-system, digital assets to delight all stakeholders while they engage with the Company, as well as a team that thinks innovation and delivers on customer delight.

Tarun’s rich industry tenure of over three decades, includes leadership roles at PNB Met Life and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. His rich experience continues to fuel his transformational approach to create sustained innovation and growth within the Company. His engagement extends to industry and academia. He serves on governing councils and advisory boards, including IIM Sambalpur. An IIT Delhi and IIM Lucknow alumnus, Tarun resides with his family in Mumbai.

Anil heads the Legal, Compliance, and Fraud Prevention functions at Bajaj Life, bringing nearly three decades of experience, largely as in-house counsel within the insurance sector. He provides strategic counsel on regulatory, governance, and business matters while ensuring adherence to applicable laws and supervisory frameworks.

In this capacity, Anil leads the Company’s engagement with regulators, oversees inspections, audits and supervisory interactions, and steers enterprise-wide initiatives on risk mitigation, compliance governance and fraud prevention. He represents the Company in key regulatory and industry forums and has served as an active member of various IRDAI and Life Insurance Council committees, contributing to policy discussions and frameworks aimed at strengthening regulatory standards, customer protection and sustainable sectoral growth.

Prior to joining Bajaj Life, Anil held leadership roles with leading life insurers including PNB MetLife India and Aviva Life Insurance. His earlier career also includes stints with Quark Media House and BEA Systems Pvt. Ltd. He began his professional journey practicing law before the Madras High Court, and has also worked with a law firm and a telecom company in the United States.

Anil holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Chennai, and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA.

Outside of work, Anil is an avid off-road enthusiast and long-distance runner, having participated in multiple half-marathons. 

Avdhesh Gupta is the Appointed Actuary at Bajaj Life Insurance. In this role, he provides strategic leadership to the actuarial function, overseeing statutory and embedded value valuations, shareholder reporting, IFRS reporting, product pricing, and risk management. He plays a key role in supporting the Company’s long-term growth, capital efficiency, and risk governance.

With nearly two decades of experience across life insurance, reinsurance, and consulting, Avdhesh brings a well-rounded perspective to business and risk decision-making. Prior to Bajaj Life, he was Principal Consultant – Actuarial Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), advising senior management of insurers on risk management, capital management, and audits. His earlier leadership roles include positions at Aegon Life Insurance, Swiss Re, and HSBC.

Avdhesh is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) and the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries (FIA), UK, and holds an MSc in Actuarial Management from Cass Business School, London.

A results-driven marketing professional with deep cross-discipline expertise, Chandramohan Mehra (CM) leads strategic marketing, brand management, consumer research, digital marketing, customer experience measurement, and in-house online business.

Chandramohan joined Bajaj Life in January 2018 and has been instrumental in transforming the brand into one of India’s most trusted and visible life insurers.

He has delivered several innovative and endearing campaigns under the umbrella of "Samjho Hogaya" to fulfil the brand’s promise of "Life Goals. DONE." Additionally, he created the company’s marquee events - Bajaj Life Plankathon, which brought the organization Guinness World Records, and Bajaj Pune Half Marathon, which have successfully connected with diverse stakeholder groups and enhanced the company’s mindshare among consumers.

An industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Chandramohan has held senior leadership positions at Sony Pictures Networks India, SBI Life Insurance, and Kotak Life. He is an alumnus of INSEAD and BITS Pilani.

He is passionate about long-distance running and continues to participate in several international marathons.

Dheeraj Sehgal is the Chief Business Officer at Bajaj Life. A results-driven professional, he brings with him over two decades of experience in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries, building new business models and defining business strategies. Dheeraj has a track record of successfully leading large teams and projects and is known for building long-lasting alliances.

Prior to joining Bajaj Life, Dheeraj has worked with renowned organizations like ICICI Securities, The Hollard Insurance Company, ICICI Prudential Life, Merck Ltd and Lupin Ltd, and was instrumental in driving superior business performance.

Dheeraj is a Chartered Wealth Manager from American Academy of Financial Management and has done a Senior Management Program from IIM Calcutta.

Rakesh Kumar is the Chief Risk Officer at Bajaj Life. He joined the Company in January 2026 and leads the enterprise risk management function, overseeing risk governance, regulatory compliance, capital management and financial resilience across the organisation.

With over 18 years of experience in the actuarial domain, Rakesh brings deep expertise across statutory valuation, regulatory reporting, pricing, and risk management. Prior to joining Bajaj Life, he headed the Pricing function within Actuarial Services at Canara HSBC Life Insurance, where he also played a key role in strengthening product governance and risk oversight. Over the course of his career, he has held significant roles at Canara HSBC Life Insurance, Ageas Federal Life Insurance and Evalueserve.com Private Limited.

Rakesh is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) and holds an MSc in Statistics from the University of Delhi.

Goutam is the Chief Information & Digital Officer at Bajaj Life, responsible for leading the Company’s enterprise technology and digital function. Since joining the organisation in November 2018, he has been driving technology strategy, strengthening digital platforms, advancing data and analytics capabilities, and leading large-scale transformation initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

With over two decades of experience in technology leadership, Goutam has successfully delivered enterprise-wide digital roadmaps while managing complex technology ecosystems. He works closely with business leaders across the organisation to ensure technology priorities are aligned with business strategy and support growth, innovation, and improved customer outcomes.

Under his leadership, Bajaj Life has accelerated its transition from traditional operating models to digitally enabled, customer-centric processes, delivering measurable impact through technology-led transformation and innovation.

A collaborative leader, Goutam strongly advocates a business–technology partnership, engaging actively with business leaders and teams to shape tech priorities and enable scalable digital solutions that improve efficiency and unlock new opportunities.

Prior to joining Bajaj Life, Goutam led the Technology & Digital Innovation function at ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company, where he drove business technology transformation and implemented AI-led platforms to modernise insurance processes. He has also worked with Essel Group of Companies and Tata Infotech Ltd.

Goutam is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Outside of work, he enjoys playing competitive badminton.

Kalyanee Govande serves as the Head – Internal Audit at Bajaj Life Insurance. She leads the Internal Audit function with a strong focus on delivering independent assurance, strengthening governance standards, and reinforcing a robust risk and control framework across the organisation. She is responsible for shaping and executing the internal audit strategy in alignment with the Company’s long-term objectives and regulatory expectations.

With over 15 years of experience in the financial services sector, Kalyanee brings deep expertise in governance, risk-based internal audits, and control framework design. Prior to joining Bajaj Life, she was part of the Corporate Audit Services (CAS) team at Bajaj Finance Limited, where she played a pivotal role in strengthening the internal audit architecture and developing risk-based audit frameworks, including in the area of information security.

She has also been associated with Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division in Mumbai, further broadening her exposure to global financial practices and risk management standards.

Kalyanee is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai.

Outside of work, she has a rare talent in graphology, the study of handwriting to understand personality and behavioural traits.

Piyush is the Company Secretary of Bajaj Life Insurance. He brings in more than 13 years of experience in the field of Secretarial, Governance, and Legal. His professional stint includes managing the corporate governance division, leading and handling initial public offers, building and implementation of governance structure and regulatory framework, managing statutory compliances (including Companies Act, Insurance Act, SEBI Act, RBI and FEMA), liasoning with Board members and shareholders, corporate advisory, debt raise, issue and listing of securities, due diligence, contracts/ agreements and corporate fraud investigation etc. He also manages Bajaj Life’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments, steering the organization towards sustainable and ethical business practices.

Before joining Bajaj Life, he was associated with MAX Group for 8+ years, holding key positions including Head – Secretarial of Axis Max Life Insurance and Company Secretary & Compliance Officer of Max Financial Services. Prior to MAX, he worked with Quick Heal Technologies Limited and Sadbhav Group.

Piyush is a Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and holds a degree in Bachelor of Laws.

Rajesh Krishnan is the Chief Operations & Customer Experience Officer at Bajaj Life, leading the enterprise-wide customer experience and operational strategy agenda. He is responsible for driving service transformation, strengthening governance frameworks, and delivering secure, seamless, and technology-enabled experiences across customer touchpoints. His focus remains on deepening stakeholder engagement while reinforcing the Company’s customer-first philosophy.

A strong advocate of thought leadership and innovation in operations, Rajesh continuously champions initiatives that elevate customer experience at every interaction while simplifying processes to enhance agility and efficiency. He has been spearheading multiple Gen AI initiatives, leveraging artificial intelligence as a transformative enabler to streamline operations, improve decision-making, and create more intuitive and responsive customer journeys. The initiatives he spearheads enable the Company to operate at scale while maintaining optimal cost efficiency.

With three decades of experience across banking and insurance, Rajesh brings deep cross-functional expertise spanning customer service, operations, and enterprise-wide transformation. He has consistently led structured interventions that enhance operational efficiency, elevate service quality, and enable sustainable business growth.

Prior to joining Bajaj Life, Rajesh was Chief of Customer Service & Operations at Pramerica Life Insurance. Over the course of his career, he has held diverse roles across prominent organizations such as ICICI Prudential Life, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Thomas Cook, where he spearheaded strategic initiatives focused on process excellence, innovation, and delivery effectiveness.

Rajesh is an alumnus of INSEAD Business School and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis. He is a Commerce graduate, a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, and a Certified Licentiate from the Insurance Institute of India.

Outside of work, Rajesh is a passionate traveller. Causes he cares deeply about include initiatives aimed at expanding access to education for underprivileged children and prevention of cruelty against animals.

Santanu is Chief Human Resource Officer at Bajaj Life. He brings over 26 years of experience & expertise in Human Resource, Talent Management, Learning & Development & Administration across various sector including Manufacturing, Retail, Telcom & Insurance.

In his current role, he heads the Company’s People, Admin & Infra strategy, overseeing critical areas of Talent Acquisition & Management, Employee Engagement & Wellbeing, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Succession Planning, as well as Infrastructure and Administration.

Since joining, he has played a key role in strengthening the organization’s people practices, shaping a progressive culture, sustained scaling up of capacity towards distribution delivery and improved employee capability. 

Prior to Bajaj Life, Santanu served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance. He has also held senior HR leadership roles at ING Vysya Life Insurance, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, Aditya Birla Health Insurance and Hathway Cable & Datacom.

Santanu graduated from the University of Calcutta and holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the Army Institute of Management, Kolkata.

Outside of work, he is a trained classical musician and an enthusiastic table tennis player.

Srinivas Rao Ravuri, the Chief Investment Officer at Bajaj Life Insurance, brings over three decades of expertise in investment research and fund management in Indian financial markets. He began his career as an analyst in 1994 at India's first boutique equity research firm and spent 25 years covering sectors such as Real Estate, Infrastructure, Industrials, Telecom, and Power at various firms.

His career includes key roles at top institutions like PGIM India Asset Management and HDFC Asset Management. He joined Bajaj Life from PGIM India Asset Management, where he played a key role in transforming the AMC into one of the fastest growing AMCs in the country.

Srinivas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and an MBA from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Beyond his professional achievements, he is an avid tennis player and nature enthusiast, and enjoys spending time outdoors. His passion for Indian classical music further highlights his diverse interests.

Vipin Bansal is the Chief Financial Officer at Bajaj Life. He leads the organisation’s financial strategy with a strong focus on governance, capital efficiency, risk management and sustainable value creation.

With over two decades of experience across Financial Reporting, Risk Management, and M&A, Vipin has worked across diverse sectors including BFSI, manufacturing, retail, FMCG, logistics, and metals. He has held leadership roles at Bajaj Finserv Limited spanning Risk, M&A, Internal Audit, and ESG, contributing to strengthening enterprise-wide controls and driving strategic growth initiatives.

Prior to this, he was associated with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and its network firms, where he served as a Partner in the Assurance Practice, advising leading organisations on financial reporting and regulatory matters.

Vipin is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Nagpur University.
