Rajesh Krishnan is the Chief Operations & Customer Experience Officer at Bajaj Life, leading the enterprise-wide customer experience and operational strategy agenda. He is responsible for driving service transformation, strengthening governance frameworks, and delivering secure, seamless, and technology-enabled experiences across customer touchpoints. His focus remains on deepening stakeholder engagement while reinforcing the Company’s customer-first philosophy.
A strong advocate of thought leadership and innovation in operations, Rajesh continuously champions initiatives that elevate customer experience at every interaction while simplifying processes to enhance agility and efficiency. He has been spearheading multiple Gen AI initiatives, leveraging artificial intelligence as a transformative enabler to streamline operations, improve decision-making, and create more intuitive and responsive customer journeys. The initiatives he spearheads enable the Company to operate at scale while maintaining optimal cost efficiency.
With three decades of experience across banking and insurance, Rajesh brings deep cross-functional expertise spanning customer service, operations, and enterprise-wide transformation. He has consistently led structured interventions that enhance operational efficiency, elevate service quality, and enable sustainable business growth.
Prior to joining Bajaj Life, Rajesh was Chief of Customer Service & Operations at Pramerica Life Insurance. Over the course of his career, he has held diverse roles across prominent organizations such as ICICI Prudential Life, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Thomas Cook, where he spearheaded strategic initiatives focused on process excellence, innovation, and delivery effectiveness.
Rajesh is an alumnus of INSEAD Business School and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis. He is a Commerce graduate, a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, and a Certified Licentiate from the Insurance Institute of India.
Outside of work, Rajesh is a passionate traveller. Causes he cares deeply about include initiatives aimed at expanding access to education for underprivileged children and prevention of cruelty against animals.
